Sir Winston Churchill brought the past alive to the delight of residents of a care home.
The former
wartime Prime Minister was brought back to life by actor Derek Herbert at Woodside Grange in Rhos on Sea.
And the actor was accompanied by his real-life wife Linda, playing Sir Winston's significant other Clementine.

The home's 35 residents cheered, clapped and waved their Union flags in appreciation when they heard the actor deliver the famous “Blood, toil, tears and sweat” speech that was given to the House of Commons on May 13 1940 just after Sir Winston was appointed Prime Minister.
